  Florida Lawyers for the Arts, Inc. (FLA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. FLA is about bringing artists and attorneys together to collaborate and assist each other through their creative and legal contributions. Its mission is to promote artistic expression through free and affordable legal services to artists and arts organizations.

FLA accomplishes this mission by offering:
     (1) legal advice clinics;
     (2) seminars; and
     (3) legal representation through participating attorneys.

FLA relies on grant funding and private donations. Attorneys throughout Florida—particularly Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota, and Orlando—volunteer their time at advice clinics, present at seminars and workshops, or to provide legal representation at reduced fees. Fees are determined based on need and financial means.

Recognizing that artists and arts organizations regularly face a variety of legal issues, FLA offers education and assistance in numerous practice areas, including:
     -  Copyright Registration and Infringement
     -  Non-Profit Formation
     -  Contract Issues
     -  Licensing & Royalties
     -  Mortage Foreclosure
     -  Bankruptcy
     -  Family law
